[CAPE TOWN], [Friday, 1 July 2016] – The volume revolution has begun! Global celebrity hairstylist and TRESemmé brand ambassador Chris Naselli arrived this week from New York City to showcase the latest volume trends to South Africa as part of the launch of the new TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume collection.

Straight from the runways and streets of NYC, to the heart of Cape Town, SA’s leading hair and beauty influencers got to see firsthand how a little switch created a big hair trend! Guests included Elana Afrika-Bredenkamp, Liesl Laurie and Bailey Schneider.

Endorsed by top stylists, TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume was specially formulated to first condition the hair, ensuring it’s soft and smooth, and then to wash away excess weight for soft, touchable volume.

Everyday Volume was the must-have look at NYFW A/W16 and Chris Naselli was backstage, bringing it to life on the runway for designers like Diane von Furstenberg, Carolina Herrera, BCBG, Hervé Léger, Mara Hoffman, À MOI and Misha Nonoo.

A master hairstylist with over 15 years’ experience, Chris has created red carpet looks for some of the world’s biggest celebrities including Emmy Rossum, Katie Holmes, Helen Mirren, Minnie Driver, Emma Roberts, Connie Britton and Olivia Munn.

As lead stylist in TRESemmé’s NYFW A/W16 Beauty-Full Volume show, Chris was an integral part of the launch of the new collection in the USA.

"TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume is a game-changer that perfects the everyday volume that women have long tried to achieve with ease," he said, "I loved collaborating with À MOI where we were able to reinterpret beloved voluminous hairstyles, like the 1960's bouffant, making them touchable, soft and modern using the new collection.”

At the South African launch, Chris showcased four on trend everyday volume looks that fashion forward women will be wearing this season - the Lob, Glam Waves, the Textured Ponytail and the Messy Bun – each created using the TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume Collection.

Voluminous dresses designed by Galuzzi e Gini offset each of the looks.

MC for the day, Bailey Schneider said, “I was blown away by the styles that Chris created. I can’t wait to join the volume revolution and try out the new range for myself. The models’ hair looked beautiful and felt soft to touch.”

Unilever Marketing Director for Personal Care, Cathalijne Oudijk, said that the brand was really excited to launch the product locally after it has receive such positive reviews in other markets. “This is a unique collection of haircare products for us, but one that addresses a very specific need that we know many women struggle with.
