Rajah proudly partnered with MXS at the inaugural MXS Kulture Fest, a vibrant celebration of African creativity expressed through food, fashion and music. The collaboration brought together two iconic South African brands united by a shared belief in culture, storytelling and the power of bringing people together.

Guided by the event slogan, “Rajah – Too Good Not To Share,” the partnership celebrated how the colours, flavours and aromas of South Africa’s rich heritage continue to connect communities across generations.

Across South Africa’s diverse cultures, meals are more than nourishment. They are moments of connection, memory and identity, shared around family tables and passed down through generations. Rajah’s distinctive aroma and warm spice blends have long been part of these moments, transforming everyday ingredients into comforting dishes that bring people together.

Aroma Meets Ingredients, Meets Ukuthosela (Braising)

At MXS Kulture Fest, Rajah showcased ukuthosela as a different way of enjoying South African dishes: Morogo, Umqusho and Amaqina. Each dish carries its own story rooted in tradition, shaped by family and enriched over time.

These dishes are more than meals. They are cultural symbols that evoke home, memory and identity, reflecting how food continues to anchor South Africans to their heritage.

By elevating these local classics with Rajah’s iconic range of curry powders and signature aroma, the brand brought its core belief to life: that the warmth and generosity found in our food is simply too good not to share.

A Shared Tasting Experience That Brings People Together

Festival guests were invited to experience this belief through a beautifully curated tasting plate featuring the three dishes. More than a meal, the tasting experience served as an invitation to reconnect with the warmth of home, to celebrate the richness of South African cuisine, and to share meaningful moments with others.

Food as a Celebration of Identity

The partnership served as a reminder that South African food is a celebration of identity, that culture lives in our ingredients, and that sharing a meal remains one of the most authentic expressions of bringing people together.
