Pete is the Head of Customer Strategy Planning, where he leads end‑to‑end customer operations, service excellence, and capability development across the continent. With more than 19 years of experience at Unilever, Pete has played a key role in major transformation programmes, including the rollout of Integrated Operations (iOps) in South Africa and broader Africa, driving business integration, forecasting improvements, and enhanced selling fundamentals.

His career spans senior roles across Customer Development, Modern Trade, Account Management, and Customer Marketing, where he has shaped commercial capabilities and strengthened partnerships with Africa’s leading retailers. Pete holds an MBA in Shopper Marketing (Gold Class Medal) from the University of Cape Town and a BA Honours in Economics, Politics, Philosophy and History from the University of KwaZulu‑Natal.
