Stacey Grant
Head of CMI - Africa
A strong believer in creative solutions, Stacey loves working in Africa where daily challenges & scarcity of resource are enablers for innovative approaches. One of her biggest passions is centred on building purpose-led solutions, and Stacey believes that this is one of the key elements in unlocking the potential of the African continent.
In her 16 years of Unilever experience, Stacey has worked across strategy and operations, in local & regional roles, and across all 3 divisions. Some notable highlights include her work on the early development & setting up of CMI’s PeopleWorld platform, which has become a critical component of how key business insights are democratised across the business. Furthermore, under her leadership, the Africa insights team has also become recognised as thought-leaders and pioneers in the research industry in areas such as mobile surveys, social media listening, and crowdsourcing. She is immensely passionate about diversity and inclusion, and in addition to leading ULZA’s Women’s Interactive Network for a few years, she is also the ULZA lead on the Unstereotype Alliance local LT. Recently, she has used this passion to lead Unilever’s D&I advertising forum – the first of its kind globally.
Her biggest passion is for her people, and she leads under principles of servant-leadership, always putting the needs of her team first.
As a working parent with a busy household, two energetic sons, a couple of pooches, and a demanding job, Stacey is fiercely passionate about helping people achieve success & harmony in both their personal & professional lives.
Purpose: To drive impact by fostering a culture of collaboration & collective intelligence - enabling people to amplify their strengths & to thrive authentically.
