With over 28 years’ experience in the FMCG industry, Luco joined Unilever in August 2013 as Vice President for Unilever West Africa. During his tenure he was responsible for developing Unilever business in the 13 countries west of Nigeria, which includes 3 operating companies (Ghana, Cote D’Ivoire, and Niger) and representation offices.
Since having joined the Unilever South Africa business as Executive Vice President in January 2017, his focus has been to deliver consistent profitable, competitive and sustainable growth for Unilever South Africa. This means building a purpose-led and future-fit business, while making sure that we offer superior products, however, whenever, and wherever people shop.

Beauty and Personal Care Category Director, South Africa
Secured his Masters in Management from the London School of Economics, and began his career in banking.
He quickly realised that the world of derivatives and grey suits was not for him!
Since 2001, he has worked in various marketing roles and capacities across all of Unilever’s Home and Personal Care categories and brands.
Most recently was based in Singapore in a Global SkinCare Brand Development Director role. Tony is married and has three sons.

Joined Unilever 2004 to 2006, re-joined May 2011.
Previously served as Marketing Executive at MassMart (Game, DionWired, FoodCo), as well as Marketing Director Personal Care at Indigo Brands (Yardley, Lenthéric, Coty).
Currently living in Durban, has lived in Cape Town, London and Los Angeles.
Vice President, Supply Chain, Southern Africa
Recently appointed as Vice President, Supply Chain for Southern Africa. Joined as Finance Management trainee in 1998. Prior to moving to South Africa, was VP for Supply Chain Mexico and Caribbean. Has worked on integrating supply chain end-to-end and has driven improvements in safety, quality, customer service as well as costs and cash to generate growth.
Been responsible for planning, production and restructuring projects in Latin America, as well as overseeing construction of the aerosols facility in Cuernavaca, Mexico.

Enver leads the Media, Enterprise Digital & Marketing Transformation portfolios across all Unilever’s sub-Saharan markets.
Prior to joining Unilever, his executive management roles included CEO, InterBrand Southern Africa; GM, Times Media Group; CEO, Ochre Media; Business Director, Ogilvy; and Head of Brand, Sanlam Group.
He has multi-industry experience in key Africa markets with category-leading brands spanning Retail, Telecoms, Financial Services, FMCG, the Public Sector and NPC’s.

Joined in 2001 as graduate recruit in R&D. Has held various roles in R&D covering South Africa, the Africa Cluster, and the Africa, Middle East and Turkey region.
From 2012 she has led the R&D team for Beauty and Personal Care across Africa and more recently began leading R&D team for HomeCare for Africa, reporting to Gaby Slavsky, R&D VP Global Deploy.

Joined Unilever 17 months ago, manages reputation, communication, compliance and sustainability. She is passionate about developing entrepreneurs and helping women and children in need. She has an MBA, on scholarship, accredited by the University of Wales.
Served as the Country Director for South African Breweries – now AB InBev – for twelve years prior to joining Unilever. Experience includes eight years in higher education management and ten years in retail property management.
Accolades include several Achiever Awards “for making an outstanding contribution to her community” and winner of one of two annual scholarships in the world by CASE – the Council for Advancement and Support of Education.

Stacey has 15 years’ experience in Unilever and leads the Africa Consumer Insights Team - a multi-country team that spans across South Africa, Kenya, Ghana, Nigeria and CDI.
She is responsible for showing the business where and how to win – leveraging consumer and shopper insights to ensure the business provides solutions to the unmet needs of people across the continent. She has worked across mix development and market deployment, giving her holistic vision and capabilities in end-to-end business leadership.
She is energised by unique challenges that demand creative solutions – and strongly believes that Africa’s VUCA context is a breeding ground for innovative approaches.
Notable highlights include her work on the development of Unilever’s internal AI platform which has become a critical component of how key business stores and democratises across the business. Under her leadership, the Africa insights team has become recognised as thought-leaders and pioneers in the research industry in areas such as mobile surveys and crowdsourcing.
Her greatest passion and achievement is being mum to two beautiful boys.

Leads 240 sales people and 4 500 Unilever Field Sales people through Unilever’s third-party partner, Smollan.
CD’s purpose is to create value for its many stakeholders. For Unilever’s shoppers Stefan and his teams aim to deliver relevant solutions when and where they are needed.
As CD VP, he continues to build a frictionless, digital path to purchase, resulting in a great experience both offline and online.

Over 15 years’ experience in the legal profession - most as in-house counsel for various multinationals, in a wide range of industries, across the continent, including uranium mining, tobacco and financial services.
Worked as a General Counsel for the Africa subsidiaries of Areva and Japan Tobacco International – which exposed him to business in 22 countries.
Joined Unilever in October 2014 as General Counsel and a member of the leadership team for Unilever Market Development.
Recently served as the General Counsel and a member of the leadership team at Unilever Côte d’Ivoire based in Abidjan, responsible for legal matters concerning Unilever business in French West Africa.
Returned to South Africa in August 2019 to take up role of General Counsel South Africa. Married to Nosi and has two children Musarurwa and Maruva.
